Under Aldara treatment for Anal Warts on it's 2 week...

Postby idontknowwhattodo123 » Fri Feb 05, 2010 11:01 pm

Hi, I'm currently using Aldara cream, I have warts around my anal area, I feel so bad cause according to the nurse practitioner who checked me, I also have hemorrhoids (which is pretty sore every time I move my bowel). Now my concern, the warts seems to bleed a lil bit and has foul smell... I don't know if this is expected during the treatment...or is it because its around my anal area and chances of friction (wiping my ass). Is there any risk of developing cancer with this?I don't know, I hope I can get rid of this and hope it wont get worse. Can't afford to lose my job if in case they require my to undergo any surgical procedure. It even hurts sometimes when I walk...which is really hard cause I spend more time with long standing at work. Please help... thanks

I have warts both externally and internally. I was afraid to get them treated with the acid. That seems like one of the worst places to get it. Now when I urinate they burn like hell. Mine seem to have gotten worse. I do smoke and drink though. Have you tried the acid treatment? I didn't do the aldara b/c the rx was going to cost me 300$.

I would not use aldara if it is bleeding. Only use on unbroken skin. You will get terribly ill and have possible long term problems if you do. There
are a lot of people who have used it when the wound starts bleeding or broken skin and now there is a big lawsuit going on.
